The Program: You have probably heard about cover crops. But, you are not quite sure what they are, why you need to plant them, where you should plant them, and when you should plant them. Autumn is the perfect time to learn all the basics of planting cover crops, while gaining practical hands-on experience you can use in your own garden.

The Speaker: Raoul Stepakoff became a Marin Master Gardener in 2015. He has participated in the Edible Demonstration Garden at IVC since its inception in 2016 and is currently a co-lead of the Edible Demonstration Garden. He has maintained a home vegetable garden for the past 40 years.
